Create Power From The Sun Using Earth4energy

solar power has until recently been seen as too expensive and ridiculous. The technology to generate electricity from solar power goes back to 1941 when Russell Ohl created the first solar cell. He was simply applying new technologies to the knowledge attained by physicist Antoine-Cesar Becquerel who first discovered that sun light could, in fact, generate electrical current. The demand for this technology increases exponentially every year as can be seen by the recent success of Earth4Energy, an E-Guide designed to help people generate their own electricity using solar and wind technologies. This guide has actually taught people how to create their own solar power cells to generate electricity. This technology has been widely seen by many as inaccessible and expensive. However, today that is not the case as many are beginning to realize. As governments fail to act to combat environmental and consumer issues (skyrocketing prices etc…), people begin to realize that on a grass roots level they actually have the power to change the world does business. The way in which we produce energy is among our most destructive practices and as energy prices continue to soar people desperately search for solutions. As many know, calculators have been running on solar power since 1978. All we have to do now is to think on a larger scale.

The biggest environmental argument for switching to alternative sources of energy such as solar power is to get away from coal fired power plants. In the South East U.S., for instance, there is one of these every 100 miles or so. Coal plants release copious amounts of Carbon Dioxide (a known green house gas) and other pollutants into the atmosphere. In addition to that, the process by which coal is extracted from the earth is among the most horrendous environmental calamities ever conceived by mankind. Mountain-top removal as is the process by which entire Appalachian mountains are entirely removed so that the coal underneath can be extracted. The destruction that is caused by this can never be repaired and life can never return to the affected area. Then the coal must be rinsed. This toxic coal sludge even finds its way into the tap water of many communities in places like Kentucky and West Virginia.

Nuclear Power has been viewed for a long time to be the solutions to these problems. solar power is a better choice because it has no drawbacks unlike nuclear power that creates radioactive waste. It provides just pure, clean and cheap electricity.

There is also a strong financial argument against continuing to pay the power companies more and more every year. Just picture what it would be like if your house were energy independent. You would be perpetuating the Earth4Energy revolution which saves people money and creates a better and cleaner planet for future generations.
